Helping Each Other.......
« Reply #-1 on: October 05, 2011, 05:27:16 PM »

There we go again.
Just wondering if we can make something like this possible by just sharing information and skills. There was a time when people traded skills rather than money. List the skills you have that you'd be willing to trade and the skills you need to accomplish some task you need done. Also list items (can be Jeep or non Jeep) here that you would be willing to trade for skills (example; Trade a Jeep transfer case for someone to do yard work, lol - just kidding).

Also we can do the same with tools, for example  you can list tools or equipment that you can share... there are two types; Tools you can use at my house (example; a press) or tools you can take with you and bring back when you are done (example; a pickle fork or gear puller). You can also list tools you need here.  Just my two cents.... 8)

I am a musician with many years of professional studio time.

I also build guitars and wire them.

Build computers.

Work for the cellphone companies (got you on discounts loll)

And I'm good with vehicles, as long as someone knows what needs to be done.

I'm always down to help my jee family out, no matter what the task, so feel free.

Ok good, I'm a superintendent so a little bit of plumbing, electricity, tiles, plaster, painting skills among others.

Also own some tools, jack stands, 2 ton floor jack, couple of ramps and a miller 140 str stick welder (115v-230V).  Not mechanically oriented but I learn quick (The only mechanic I'd done is changing the radiator and hoses and replacing the shackles with a body).

Have some projects to be done but honestly I live in a building so can't do anything at my place, I'm in need of a driveway/garage so we can share some time/labor and get things done both ways.

Same here I'm a supper as well and do home improvements from taking down walls to putting up walls and have the tools for it. So for you guys that may be able to work on a truck but can't hang a picture straight just let me know. Don't know much about mechanics but I am a quick learner. I'm willing to come and help on builds as well when an extra hand is needed.

ER hi guys. I work PR for a Health insurance company. Now, I don't sign people up or anything (mostly work w the docs and clinics directly) BUT I can get you connected with the rep that CAN sign you up. This is for low income people (government sponsored) but in this economy that's mostly everybody :)
