It's a 1997 but the drivetrain/harness setup is from a 2000 6cyl.

OEM Jeep Tech / TPS Sensor issue
« on: October 14, 2013, 09:03:46 AM »
Throwing a p0123 code - TPS sensor.

I replaced the sensor with an aftermarket sensor that didnt work.. then put in a new OEM sensor.. still doesnt work..

I read on other Jeep forums about multiple different solutions but so much written about this problem im burnt out from theories.

Anyone on here that is a good tech want to lend a hand possibly take a look at it?

I can offer beer/food/cash whatever works,

Thanks

Good day fella's

I finally found some time to start a newb thread an introduce myself.

Figured I'd find a local jeep club that can tolerate my jeep madness.

I'm Steve im originally from Middle Village then moved to Hicksville I think I may know a few of you.

My Jeeps old/new
1992 YJ - sold for rent money.. worst decision ever
1998 ZJ - sold because it became a disaster
2002 WJ - stock
1997 TJ - work in progress... awkward obsession... borderline deal breaker as my girl often says lol

some pics
after I bought it... it had major issues... first being that it was a 4 cylinder.. second being it was once wrecked before I got it... but I was so happy to get myself a TJ that I didnt care at the time.

after a fun season I decided to change things up alittle

started with some fresh paint

during

after

and a few hours later

and final stance...  few months later with 2 extra cylinders and more stress then I can imagine

anyways... I'll be asking some tech questions soon and hopefully coming to a some meets eventually hopefully im doing a Rausch Creek trip early November I want to test out my new setup.
