Front Axle Fluid Capacity



186 FBI (Model 30)  2.1 Pints ( 1.0 Liters )
 
216 FBI (Model 40)  2.7 Pints ( 1.3 Liters )

Rear Axle Fluid Capacity



226 RBI (Model 44)  4.75 Pints ( 2.25 Liters )

Note: Trac-lok equipped axles require 0.1 L (3.4 ounces) of Limited Slip Additive in the lubricant.

i'd think there are too many variables to get a straight answer.

i have the dynatrac one which is basically the same as Solid. never had contact with it, both with the teraflex trackbar and the synergy trackbar.

but when i got my synergy trackbar i already had the axle side trackbar mount raised.

I have a ruffstuff dana 30 cover and my IRO double shear has made contact with it. Guess that means time to lift higher :shrug: lol. I do need to extend front bumpstops eventually

I have a buddy that had to trim some of the fins cause he has hitting on his TJ.  JKs are set up a little different i guess.

Solid def makes a nice cover.  But I have heard they have problems with clearance in some circumstances.   Trying to decide on what cover for my new front axle.  Leaning towards just going with UCF DIY to match my rear.  Simple and cheap.
