TPS Sensor issue
« Reply #-1 on: October 14, 2013, 09:03:46 AM »

Throwing a p0123 code - TPS sensor.

I replaced the sensor with an aftermarket sensor that didnt work.. then put in a new OEM sensor.. still doesnt work..

I read on other Jeep forums about multiple different solutions but so much written about this problem im burnt out from theories.

Anyone on here that is a good tech want to lend a hand possibly take a look at it?

I can offer beer/food/cash whatever works,

Thanks

It's a 1997 but the drivetrain/harness setup is from a 2000 6cyl.

what became of this?  I just did a TPS.  MAke sure the clip isnt broken on the plug and non of the prongs are bent. IF you put a new sensor in and it still doesnt work its prob something wrong with the connection. My clip is broken on the harness side so I tape the hell out of it and its fine.
